REEL-TO-REEL PLATING
The strips can be supplied as solid strips, pre-stamped strips, or metal carrier strips. We electroplate strips, wires, and stamped components made of copper and copper alloys, nickel alloys, and stainless steel.
Our electroplating finishes include hard gold, silver, copper, nickel, and pure tin.
The dimensions of the base material depend on the plating process used. Material thicknesses range from 70 μm to 2 mm, with a maximum strip width of approximately 120 mm.
Reel-to-Reel Plating Technologies
New products and complex component geometries require customized plating racks and fixtures to ensure the required coating thickness is achieved, even in difficult-to-access areas of the component.

Immersion technique
Full or selective one-sided and two-sided plating of continuous strips and stamped components on strip.
Strip technique
Selective strip plating of continuous strips using wheel-cell technology and masking techniques.
Brush technique
Selective one-sided plating of pre-stamped strips using brush plating technology.
Barrel Plating
Bulk components can be electroplated with a wide range of coating combinations and thicknesses. Depending on the component geometry and batch size, the most suitable plating equipment and production line are selected to ensure optimum results.
Spot Plating
Selective plating of contact areas on pre-stamped strips as well as on pre-formed or fully processed lead frames.
